For two decades I’ve been tapping on a keyboard and dabbling in photography while travelling near and afar. My writing is eclectic with a focus on travel, environment, Native culture, science, and anything quirky or unusual. I’ve penned ten books including one national best seller, and I’ve written hundreds of articles for magazines, newspapers, and websites. As a member of the Society of Environmental Journalists and former consultant and adjunct professor in environmental sciences at Brock and Victoria Universities, I have a strong affinity for nature and the environment around us. First Nations culture, rich and full of myths,  fascinates me and I write about it frequently. I enjoy sharing my experiences through public speaking. And there are two windmills I like to tilt at.

By the way, 2019 has been a terrific year. I won four awards for my writing and photography (3 firsts, 1 third).
